Systemic Pesticides | The Task Force on Systemic Pesticides


While it’s simple to think of pesticides as being necessary to increase crop production and lower the cost of food, there is proof that these very chemicals that are supposed to help are decreasing the food supply by killing off the pollinators that are necessary for food production.  A recent study by Health Canada has proven that neonic pesticides are directly causing a very high mortality rate among honey bees in Ontario, Canada, in the corn producing areas of the province.
