President Obama’s ISIS strategy will fail, according to history.  His biggest problem is the same ideology of other "progressive" statesmen in history, such as Neville Chamberlain, just before Britain found itself embroiled in another world war, one that might have been stopped before it started, had the British parliament listened to that great buffoon, as he was thought of by those who opposed him, who warned that if Hitler was not stopped, he might be very hard to stop.  The ideology of Chamberlain and his friends is the same ideology as that of Mr. Obama and friends;  that is, that people are ultimately good, and that if you just treat them with kindness and respect, they will reciprocate.  Such has been proven false again and again throughout history, and unfortunately, will prove false one again.  Just as US training and supplying of the Mujihadeen in Afghanistan to fight the Soviet forces bred Al Queda who turned on the US, so this present "strategy" will backfire badly.  It is not a matter of opinion.  It is a solidly proven historical fact that this strategy will fail.  The definition of insanity is to continue trying the same thing, while expecting different results.  Progressive logic is a horrible misnomer.
