Great Lakes 80% frozen over, NASA image show

The Great Lakes are the most ice-covered they’ve been in 20 years, a new NASA image shows.

Dave Cottrell‘s insight:

Since this photo was taken on February 19th, 2014, the Great Lakes are now about 90% frozen over, with more very cold weather still in the forecast.
